I got boinged! Welcome to the new readers who found me that way. You are just in time for my round-up of all the posts from July.

Congrats on the bboing! And great selections!

I posted an original cc-licensed children's story called The Ladybug Who Had No Spots on my own blog a while back, and am looking for a similarly cc-minded illustrator to complete the book (any takers?).

Current license limits public performance for any audiences above the age of 8, and similarly limits uncredited ilustration for anyone over 8, though, which allows educators and parents to read/illustrate with their kids for free...would love to hear if any other kids authors are using similar cc-license modifications; it's a great way to teach about Creative Commons in the home or classroom!

Thanks, I will check out your site! I have added a link to the blog template so people can email me with suggestions. Scott: I am limiting my focus to ebook, audio and music at this time. But if you start a video blog, I will link to it :)

I second the congratulations on the BB pickup.

Perhaps I can also mention that the RachelSpeak blog has a post on a CC licensed fiction e-book called 42 Blue. A fast moving fiction with a female heroine named Maggie who works in the computer industry.
